Hi, I am a college senior in B.S. Biochemistry. I am able to teach high school-level and some college-level mathematics, and as well some physics concepts, on fairly short notice. I have very little actual tutoring experience--I have only taught people to play music (specifically, the drums, and I am still available to do this!), and the sessions were informal. Still, I am a good and patient helper, and I am very excited about the opportunity to teach and to get people interested in the subjects that I love! I tutor one-on one, which is probably the best method. I can meet clients at their homes, or at the local library or other "neutral" location. The pay is negotiable, but would typically be $15/hr. You will learn the Cuban floating hand technique and the basics of the tumbao, guaguanco, funga, joli, and some practice rhythms and flexibility/strength excersises.
