I'm particularly interested in tutoring Japanese to beginners or helping out a current student of Japanese. I've taken Japanese classes for 9 years now and attended the University of Oregon for a year to complete my academic minor in it. I am very patient and kind when it comes to learning a musical instrument because I know it is a difficult process. Most of my experience with tutoring is with non-native English speakers. I helped a woman write her masters thesis while at UO and have worked with Japanese exchange students' English papers. I am interested in helping others out in their quest to improve their English oral and writing skills. I am willing to meet for half hour or hour long sessions. The price I have up there is certainly not fixed. I realize it depends on multiple factors (i.e. my experience in the field I'm tutoring in, how long the session is, how often we meet, etc).
