I am interested in seeking a part time tutoring position in science, mathematics or engineering. I have always been interested in helping others, especially when it comes to academics as I have always been blessed in that a strong grasp over science and math subjects has come easy to me and I want to help others who might not have as strong a hold over the subjects. I have plenty of experience in the subject areas of K-12 mathematics as well as college level advanced mathematics such as linear algebra and differential equations. I am well versed in K-12 physics as well as most K-12 levels of biology and chemistry and other sciences. Additionally I am a seasoned user of Microsoft office applications as well as Matlab and Solidworks and can teach basic computer skills as well as skills in the programs just mentioned. I am an alumnus of the California Institute of Technology where I studied Aeronautical Engineering meaning I am well qualified to also tutor in engineering courses such as thermodynamics, fluid and gas dynamics, statics and dynamics, solid mechanics and so on. I am also planning on attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007 to study for my PhD in Aeronautical Engineering. I am hoping to obtain a position tutoring in one of the fields described above or a related field. I have experience tutoring in high school as well as in college and am an extremely patient and personable tutor. I have no past criminal infractions and am drug free.
